Below, you’ll find our most frequently asked questions and get all the answers you’ll need to come to our studio prepared. Feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have. We can’t wait to meet you!

  • Lagree and Pilates are both fitness methods that focus on strengthening the body through low-impact exercises. However, there are some key differences between the two:

    Equipment: Pilates typically involves the use of equipment such as a reformer, cadillac, and chairs, while Lagree uses a machine called the Megaformer.

    Movement: While both methods emphasize slow and controlled movements, Lagree movements tend to be more intense and incorporate more strength training elements. Pilates, on the other hand, focuses more on stretching and lengthening the muscles.

    Muscle groups: Lagree primarily targets the core, legs, and upper body, while Pilates emphasizes the core, back, and hips.

    Intensity: Lagree is generally considered to be a more intense workout than Pilates, as it involves more muscle activation and higher resistance.

  • A Lagree class is a type of fitness class that focuses on high-intensity, low-impact exercises using a machine called the Megaformer. Here's what you can generally expect from a Lagree class:

    You will get a full-body workout: A Lagree class targets all major muscle groups in the body, including the arms, legs, glutes, and core.

    High-intensity, low-impact: Lagree exercises are designed to be challenging, but with a focus on low-impact movements to protect your joints.

    Slow and controlled movements: You'll perform slow and controlled movements on the Megaformer, which is designed to add resistance to your workout.

    Strength and cardio: Lagree classes are a combination of strength and cardio exercises, making it a great all-around workout.

    Core focus: A strong core is essential for good posture, balance, and overall fitness. Lagree classes place a particular emphasis on core strength and stability.

    Small class size: Lagree classes typically have a small class size, allowing for personalized attention from the instructor.

    • Please sign your waiver before your first class that was sent to your email.

    • Inform your instructor of any injuries or medical conditions before class. Modifications can be provided to ensure a safe workout.

    • Grip socks are required for every Lagree class. You can purchase one on your IGF app if needed.

    • Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class starts. If you are new to our studio, please arrive 10 to 15 minutes earlier.

    • You may park in the garage attached to the Radius building (back side) and scan the QR signs to register your vehicle. Text us prior to class for your 2 hours of free parking!

  • We encourage early booking to secure your spot. You can do so by downloading the IGF app.

    Waitlist: If a class is full, you can join the waitlist, but beware – the waitlist moves FAST. If a spot opens up, you will be automatically added to the class and notified via email, SMS, and app notifications (make sure to turn them on).

    Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you can no longer attend class to avoid a no-show penalty. The waitlist stops adding reservations 2 hours before the class starts, so keep an eye on your status leading up to that time.

    Can I just "Show Up"?: Feel free to show up and jump into a spot that isn’t taken at the start of the class! If someone doesn’t show up for their reservation, a standby reservation will take precedence over someone on the waitlist since the waitlist stops adding people 2 hours before class. This means if you’re ready and waiting, you might get lucky and snag a spot last minute!

  • For a Lagree class, come prepared. for your workout to make the most of it. Here's a brief list of items you should bring:

    Grip Socks: The best socks for Lagree are grip socks for better traction and stability during the workout.

    Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is crucial during any exercise session. While we teach in a 45-minute flow, we encourage you to keep your water close.

    Towel: We offer free towel service for your convenience! Whether you're wiping down equipment or yourself, we’ve got you covered.

    Clothing: Wear what makes you feel good! That’s the beauty of our all-women’s studio – a space where you can express yourself and feel comfortable.

    Minimal or No Jewelry: For safety reasons and to prevent any damage to jewelry, it's best to keep accessories to a minimum or leave them at home.

    Most Importantly… A Positive Attitude! Lagree classes can be challenging but incredibly rewarding. Bring along a positive mindset and be ready to push yourself to achieve your fitness goals.

  • Advance Cancellations: Cancellations are allowed up to four hours before the beginning of the booked session. If changes are made less than four hours in advance, a $20 cancellation fee will apply.

    No-Shows: If you do not show up for a class without canceling, you will lose the credit for the class and incur a $30 no-show fee.

    Membership Terms: Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

    Memberships and drop-ins must be used within the designated time frame. Unused classes will not roll over to the next period.

  • We provide a variety of amenities to make your experience more comfortable and enjoyable. These include:

    • Free Covered Parking: Enjoy the convenience of free covered parking so you can focus on your workout without worrying about finding a spot or dealing with the weather.

    • Cubby Spaces: We offer cubby spaces where you can store your belongings during the class.

    • Towel Service: Fresh towels are available for your use at no additional cost.

    • Clean Double-Stall Bathroom: Our facilities are well-maintained, offering a clean and private space to freshen up before or after your workout.

    • Zen Meditation Station: After your empowering Lagree class, take a moment to be with yourself at our serene meditation station. It's your sanctuary to unwind, find balance, and get ready to conquer your life.

    • Insta-Worthy Selfie Spots: Flaunt your strength and grace at our picture-perfect selfie spots! Capture those sweat-drenched, endorphin-fueled moments and share your journey with the world – you're a true inspiration!
